Joint Commission Accreditation

By demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety, Apalachee Center, Inc. has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.

Founded in 1951, the Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation’s healthcare through voluntary accreditation. The Joint Commission conducted an unannounced on-site survey of Apalachee Center, Inc. in August, 2008.

In becoming accredited, Apalachee Center, Inc. was evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission survey team experienced in the delivery of behavioral health care services. Achieving accreditation demonstrates Apalachee Center’s commitment to providing safe, high quality care.
