Adult treatment services are available in each county served by Apalachee Center. Services are aimed at supporting self-directed recovery. Services, prescriptions and medications are provided on a sliding fee scale which is set based on federal guidelines.

Whether you have been living with the struggles of mental health for years or have just decided to take the first step towards getting help, Apalachee Center provides a wide range of services to help you with what you need.

Services Available Through Same-Day Access

  • Assessments / Evaluations
    • Our team will conduct assessments consisting of questions and interviews to understand the challenges you are experiencing to help determine diagnosis and treatment recommendations that work best for you.
  • Psychiatric Treatment
    • Our psychiatric team consists of psychiatrists and advanced registered nurse practitioners (APRNs) to help provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses and medication management services.
  • Case Management
    • Our case managers assist individuals in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other services through the coordination of treatment to achieve a successful outcome, at the office or in the community setting.
  • Substance Use Disorder and Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment
    • We provide services to individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders as well as co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Get Started

To become an Apalachee Center client, walk into our Leon County Outpatient office or join a video call during our Same-Day Access hours for an intake session to begin outpatient services, including therapy, peer specialists, medication management, psychiatric care, recovery support groups, primary care and more.

  • Same-Day Access Hours
    • Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 9 – 11:30 am
    • Tuesday & Thursday: 12:30 – 3 pm

Other Services

  • Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
    • This service is used primarily to treat opioid (i.e. heroin, pain medications containing opioids, or other opiate use) and alcohol use disorders. MAT is a combined treatment of medications, education, and therapy (individual/group) services to help individuals reach and sustain recovery and prevent/reduce opioid overdose. Interested in MAT?   • Primary Care Services
