The Behavioral Excellence and Children’s Health (BEACH) Unit
Apalachee Center’s Behavioral Excellence and Children’s Health (BEACH) Unit provides a secure, structured therapeutic environment for short-term crisis resolution and psychiatric treatment for youth. In most cases, a three to five-day stay is sufficient to resolve the crisis and connect the minor and their family to appropriate outpatient support.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to actively participate in their child’s treatment.
